Bite Beauty recently released their Daycation Whipped Blush ($32). Not only is Bite Beauty a cruelty-free company but they are also 100% vegan. The blush is available at Sephora and the Bite Beauty website. Here is my full review of the Bite Beauty Daycation Whipped Blush.

Product Breakdown
Daycation cream blush comes in four shades – Melon Mojito, Coconut Rum, Watermelon Marg, and Hibiscus Slush. It comes with 0.33 oz/9.76 mL for $32. They sent me the shades Melon Mojito and Coconut Rum to try out.
The shades on the Bite Beauty website are described as followed:
- Melon Mojito – glowing peach
- Coconut Rum – luminous warm bronze
- Watermelon Marg – light pearl pink
- Hibiscus Slush – radiant berry
My Thoughts
At first swatch, I was very disappointed by these blushes. They dried down extremely fast on bare skin. They are also incredibly sparkly, almost like a highlighter. However, I should have known better not to judge by a swatch.
When applying these to the face, they are much more forgiving and actually look beautiful on the skin. I use Coconut Rum as a bronzer and Melon Mojito as a blush. They play nicely with all the products I normally use. I opted to use a brush with these, as I find cream products much easier to blend with a brush. If you enjoy cream blushes and a more luminous look to the skin, I feel like you would love these blushes.
As someone who has fair skin, I felt like the shades Coconut Rum and Melon Mojito looked great on me. Although I can’t speak about the two shades I don’t have. Bite Beauty has many reposts on their Instagram feed of people with a darker skin tone than me using these blushes and they look amazing.
One con for me is the packaging of the product. Because it comes in a squeeze tube, I’m not sure this is the best component to get the most use of the product. I feel like a lot would be not able to be used and you would be wasting the product you paid for. Cutting open the component would help, but because this product dries so quickly, I don’t have much hope it would last for more than one use after cutting it open.
One major downfall of this product is the price and small amount of product. I am very happy Bite Beauty sent me these blushes to try out and I use them often. However, if I had to purchase them myself, I don’t think I would. There are so many beautiful more affordable cream blushes on the market that are also vegan and cruelty-free. If you don’t mind paying the high price tag for these, they are a great cream blush.
