The Colourpop Whatever eyeshadow palette ($18) was recently launched at Ulta Beauty and I decided to pick it up and try it out. There are not many vegan Colourpop eyeshadow palettes available at Ulta, so I figured why not? Here is a full breakdown of the palette and my thoughts.

The Colourpop Whatever eyeshadow palette is a 12 pan eyeshadow palette including 1 super shock shadow, 7 matte shades, 1 pressed glitter, and 3 metallic shades.
Pros: Pigmented, Easy to blend, Buildable, Cardboard Packaging, No Mirror
Cons: One pressed glitter
Shades (L-R): Tardy, Pink Slip, Maybe Later, Copy Cat, Pass It On, Bad Guy, Duh, Not Ok, Ditchin’ U, In Bold, TTYN, Ms. Brightside
My final thoughts: Upon first glance, I expected more rich red pigments from the palette to give me a grunge look like Lime Crime Venus palettes. It is a nice warm-toned eyeshadow palette if you are in the market for one. I did appreciate them including the shade “Tardy” which is a Super Shock Shadow. If you are unfamiliar with the formula, it has a unique mousse-like texture. However, I do feel like I already own a lot of the shades in the palette in my collection already. I appreciate that this palette is made from cardboard, not plastic, and doesn’t include a mirror, making it a more sustainable palette. I am not a fan of pressed glitter in Colourpop palettes so this is a con for me. As far as the palette goes, I could take or leave this palette.
